Durban to Cape Town


I’m happy to say that I slept like a baby and that I actually got up and did a bit of exercise. I’m getting a cold (travel does it every time…..and yes, I took Airborne) but the energy that I get from the people I’ve met has kept my energy levels high. Perhaps I can attribute a great night sleep to the fact that my body is adjusting to the time zone, is it possible? I’m sure those of you that travel abroad are thinking that the minute my body adjusts, I’ll be heading back to the states and the adjustment will start all over again!

I had another wonderful SA breakfast and have found that the vast offerings of fresh fruit, breads and meats is a great way to start off the day. Did you know that those that eat a big breakfast with a nice variety of protein, fruits and whole grains tend to be more lean that those who just have cereal or high sugar “granola” bars?
