Food Confusion

It’s so interesting that with all of the books and resources we have about healthy eating people still don’t know. People don’t trust themselves to know what’s right and what’s not.

It’s interesting in that, brilliant people I work with, were talking Ph.D. here, don’t know what they should be eating, at least that’s what they’re telling me.

“I’m not sure if I’m eating right. I mean how many carbs should I have? I think I eat too much at meal time and snack too much.”

The problem with food/nutrition is that we’re given so many mixed messages that no one really knows what’s best. But you know what I think? I think you do. I think that the idea of relying on another source of information for quick weight loss is what people seek. Because the reality is that you KNOW what you should be eating, you KNOW when you eat too much or too much of the wrong thing, right?

So here are some things I just want to share with you about nutrition, see what you think.

1. Don’t diet, it’s a waste of time, money, energy and emotion. They don’t work. If they did, obesity wouldn’t be an issue, right? And don’t say, ‘Well this diet worked because I lost 25 pounds!”
