Darren was kind enough to arrange my wine tasting adventure with 2 very appropriate guides. Fran, whose family owns a “wine farm” and has quite a bit of knowledge and insight about wine and Carey, well, she just loves good wine, good conversation and good humor! We were going to get along great.

The first wine farm they took me to was the Spier Winery. But first we had to pet the Cheetah! Huh? Pet what? With bare hands? Are we doing this together?
