About Nicki

I’ve always believed that leadership begins with how we treat one another—and that belief was born from a lot of quiet moments growing up. I spent much of my childhood alone, which gave me two gifts: a deep appreciation for connection and a clear understanding that we thrive when we feel seen and valued.

Over the last 30+ years, my work in leadership, from the corporate world to nonprofits to mentoring college students, has always been rooted in building trust, lifting others up, and leading with heart. But it wasn’t until I looked back on my time directing a leadership program for young women that something clicked.

I asked myself: What kind of legacy am I leaving? Am I truly modeling the kind of leadership I believe nurtures, empowers, and is rooted in love?

That reflection was the turning point.

From that moment on, I committed to what I now call Love-Led Leadership™, a path that’s less about controlling outcomes and more about coming back to who we really are. It’s about leading ourselves first, with compassion, respect, and honesty, so we can lead others in a way that’s meaningful and lasting. It’s an ongoing process, a process that continues to change my life in meaningful ways.

Love-led Leadership™ is a powerful shift that changes how we lead teams, build cultures, raise families, and show up in the world. It’s how we move from burnout to balance, from fear to courage, from division to connection.

I believe love is who we are, not just something we give. And when we embrace that truth, messy, imperfect, and all, we unlock the power to lead with clarity, courage, compassion, and purpose.

Let’s lead with love. Together, let’s create the kind of world we actually want to live in.
