I can’t change someone’s mind; I can only lead by example.  – N. Anderson

Where Love-led Leadership Begins

I recently met with someone that said, “Nicki, I want to lead with love, I really do, but it’s hard. People just don’t listen, they can’t see what they need to see and it’s so frustrating.” I reminded her that we have zero control over what others do (it’s so easy to forget that when we’re in the throes of frustration.)  That conversation inspired what Love-led Leadership looks like in action.

Leading by Example

  • I can’t force kindness, but I can show kindness in how I treat others, even when it’s hard.
  • I can’t control someone’s attitude, but I can choose patience and positivity in my own.
  • I can’t make others value honesty, but I can live with integrity and stay true to my word.
  • I can’t dictate someone’s choices, but I can align my own actions with love and integrity
  • I can’t eliminate negativity around me, but I can respond with grace, compassion, and resilience.
  • I can’t make someone care, but I can show care and empathy in my relationships.
  • I can’t demand trust, but I can earn it by being reliable and authentic.
  • I can’t force unity, but I can foster connection by listening, understanding, and respecting differences.
  • I can’t fix everything, but I can be a steady presence for those who need it.
  • I can’t eliminate negativity, but I can respond with grace, care, and a spirit of connection.

When we choose love, we spark transformation. One act, one moment, one heart at a time. That’s love-led leadership in action.

How will you be love in action today?

Love,

Nicki
